Community Outreach Manager
Daniel Chometa, Graduated from Mount Allison University in Sackville, New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and is now the Community Outreach Manager for Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada. Financial Literacy is on the forefront of Consolidated Credit’s agenda and Daniel has proven to be the means to that end. He is dedicated to generating awareness about personal finance issues to the business community as well as to the general public.
Daniel has passed the BIA Insolvency Counsellor’s Qualification Course and is also a trained counsellor who has helped many individuals become debt free and fiscally responsible.
He has also spearheaded financial literacy initiatives with organizations such as The United Way of Greater Toronto and Dixon Hall.
Daniel is a co-chair on the board of directors for the Toronto Adult Student Association (TASA). TASA is a not-for-profit, membership-based organization that advocates for sufficient, high quality, accessible adult education. Daniel has worked diligently to develop a variety of community outreach programs and has traveled around the country conducting seminars and workshops to diverse employee groups.
Daniel’s seminar topics include but not limited to, Budgeting, Coping with Financial Stress, Credit Management, Credit In a New Country, All About Credit and Acquiring Smart Spending Habits. When Daniel is not promoting financial literacy he is dedicated to another great cause, Daniel is the Defensive Coordinator for the Toronto Jr. Tiger Cats bantam football team in the Ontario Minor Football League (OMFL).
