My name is Kim and I would like to start by saying, that my husband and I are
debt free!
Before we started on the program three years ago, we thought that there would never
be an end to our financial troubles. You never think that you are going to be a
person that will be in such distress that you would consider bankruptcy, but before
you know it there you are. We have had a lot of ups and downs along the road of
life and with a few residential moves and four young children; we had some financial
struggles along the way. It got so bad that I would need to use one credit card
to pay another.
One day while I was desperately looking for some answers, I found Consolidated Credit's
website. I sent our application in for a no-obligation analysis, and it was as easy
as that, to start a program that changed our lives! They set us up with a monthly
payment and most of our interest rates were reduced to zero. All of our harassing
phone calls stopped and if there were any issues we could refer them to our counsellors
at Consolidated Credit.
I can't believe how fast three years went by and we learned some valuable lessons
along the way. Being on the program teaches you to budget your money for spending.
What a gratifying feeling it is to be able to budget our spending and stick to it!
It gives you a feeling of empowerment! Also, as a family with four young children,
it forced us to find other forms of entertainment that were not expensive, like
going to the library or apple picking, etc. The kids loved these activates, because
it generally means spending quality time together.
I would recommend Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada to anyone
who is struggling like we were.
