I wanted to take a moment to say ‘thanks’ to everyone at Consolidated for helping
me to get a handle on my debts.
When I first called I was constantly stressed and was receiving collection calls
from my creditors on a constant basis. Taking cash advances from one creditor to
pay another. I did not know how I was going to get through this until I heard a
commercial one day driving to work and I thought “what the heck it cannot be any
worse than what I am dealing with right now.” Consolidated managed to obtain either
a 0% interest rate or very close to that for almost all of my creditors.
The kindness and compassion displayed by your counsellors was unbelievable. They
never judged me because of the situation I was in which was a first. They were always
there and willing to help with any situation that occurred.
During this process I learned how to better manage my money and pay my monthly statements
on time and in full. I make sure I never spend (charge) more than I can afford and
how important it is to put money away for a rainy day.
I will be recommending Consolidated to others and helping to dispel the negativity
about credit counselling programs as a whole.
Now that I have completed the program I dedicated to living within my means. I am
a success story!
