Bill collectors come calling, even after a daughter’s death

An Ontario mother has been dealing with bill collectors determined to get the $215 owed to them by her daughter – who died over three years ago. Sean O’Shea of Global News tackled this story of a dispute between a grieving mother and Bell. Jeff Schwartz, executive director of Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada, was asked for his expert advice on what happens to debt after a death.
