Consolidated Credit warns against putting the vacation on the plastic
After a record-setting winter full of frigid temperatures and endless snowstorms, Canadians are more than ready to take advantage of March Break. But with household debt piling higher than the snowbanks, many financial experts are worried that people will ignore their budgets in favour of the beach.
Jeff Schwartz, executive director of Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada, is concerned that Canadians are confusing wants and needs. He shared those thoughts with the CBC.
