Government changes prepaid card rules

Prepaid credit cards are used by many Canadians as they are convenient when travelling and allow you to give yourself a set spending limit. The Federal Government recently instituted new rules in regards to the fees that can be charged to the consumer who is using these cards. Josephine Lim of CreditCards.ca, along with Jeff Schwartz of Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada, explains the changes and discusses how their use relates to personal debt and credit history.
