Organization meets highest standards of credit counselling again
Congratulations were in order at Consolidated Credit Counseling Services of Canada’s main office in Toronto as the organization received its reaccreditation certificate from the Canadian Association of Credit Counselling Services (CACCS). The awarding of the accreditation was in recognition of Consolidated Credit’s on-going efforts to meet the highest standards of integrity and professionalism within the credit counselling industry.
Jeff Schwartz, executive director of Consolidated Credit, said the renewal process was difficult but rewarding.
“The CACCS has very strict standards and we need to be constantly improving and evolving to make sure we not only meet, but exceed those standards,” said Schwartz. “We went through this process four years ago, and we’ll do it again four years from now.”
CACCS CEO Henrietta Ross and Chair Sheila McCracken were on hand to address the employees at Consolidated Credit.
“Nothing worth doing comes easy,” noted Ross. “But the team at Consolidated Credit can be very proud of their accomplishments and the honours they received today.”
