Once exam season finishes, summer job season starts

student jobs, summer employmentChances are, there are plenty of university students slaving away at the library right now as they prepare for final exams.  As if that isn’t stressful enough, many of them are busy worrying about earning enough money over the summer in order to continue to finance their studies.

Surveys show that over half of Canadian students will need to borrow for their education, and of those students, 40 per cent of them expect to owe more than $25,000 in debt.

Covering the steep costs of education with a summer job might seem like a tall order, but some hard work and dedication will at least help to soften the blow of tuition.
